Hereford's Refurbishment
The Hereford's refurbishment has been in progress for a week now and things are coming along nicely. There is about one or two more weeks of work left to go. A spacious new pool room
is one of the good things that will come from the refit. This will take the original pool table and if there is enough demand, a second table. The space left by the pool table in the main room can be used for extra
seating and entertainment (bands etc.)
Other good news is that the Hereford Arms has been selected by The Harley-Davidson Club Wales as a venue for it's Christmas Party.

Sunday Ride Out
The first of the new Autumn / Winter Ride-outs start this Sunday. "Antipodean" Mike is leading the ride, but at this point is being a little cagey about the destination. Could be Cheddar way,
or perhaps a back road ride to Weston-Super-Mare. Hereford Arms ride-outs are open to anybody on 2 (or 3) wheels, and kick offs are generally at 12:00 from the pub. It's probably advisable
to be at the Hereford at least half an hour early, for a chin wag and refreshments
Just a note on the refurbishment of the Hereford Arms. Work is starting this month and will include structural work to the building and an enlarged floor space area (among other things). Currently there are no plans to
close the pub during the refit.

Port 'O Call Bike Show Pictures
Ian brought good weather for the annual Port 'O Call Bike Show. The pub was crammed, and a good time was had by all. The show, organised by The Harley-Davidson Club Wales, raised
850 pounds for The Anthony Nolan Trust, a UK Leukaemia Charity. Check out some pictures of the show in the pictures section.
